Universal Amber LED Indicator Light Bulb, 1/4 Inch

This was the answer to my dash light issue. I had to make a new dash for my 54 Chevy truck, some one had cut the dash to install a set of gases from a newer truck so I made one out of Oak. It looked great but I need indicator lights. This did the job making my dash complete

TIP # 1 : After very carefully installing two blinker + a hi-beam indicator in a model A hot rod , with the dash out and re-installed , the hi-beam didn't work. The ground wire fell out of the housing its self . I was sent a new unit. This time I put a drop of super glue were the wires go into the back of the housing , and let it sit overnight. TIP #2 ,I found the best way to strip the insulation off of the small wires , with out breaking the strands , was to heat the wire with a lighter and simply pull off the insulation , exposing just wire. Then , I used just the metal part of a small butt connector and crimped the connections , and used a really small diameter shrink wrap over that , to stiffen things up. Very bullet proof after that !
