Mythology in excess!
If you love chess and mythology, this is the most tasteful integration I have ever seen. The featured gods and goddesses of Greek mythology on a handsome wooden chess board. Each piece is detailed and nicely sculpted. It is a substantial set in size and weight and serves as much as a chess board as it does a beautiful display of artwork.

Great display piece
Pieces are large and well detailed and show well. Each piece is complete and does not require any filler on the bottom or backs of chess men. All are felted for non-scratch movement when playing. The board is also of excellent quality. I will customize by board by putting on filigree brass corners for additional cosmetic appeal. I wish two additional queens were available for pawn promotion. Great set appeal, quality workmanship and I would recommend purchasing when on sale or promotional discounts are available.
