Decent sock for casual or dress wear

I like the color available but was hoping they'd be a bit thicker. The fit is along the lines of support hose, but not uncomfortably tight. Description says contains wool but I couldn't tell. They remind me of "Banlon" dress socks I wore as a kid. Overall, they are suitable for dress and casual wear more so than outdoor active wear so still a decent value for the price.

Okay, very long up to just below the knees that makes it good for wearing under high rubber boots, but they are too thin for winter wear. I thought they would be thicker.
