The main thing I like about this particular keyboard is you can turn the LED lighting under the keys on and off with a single keystroke. I have a home entertainment system I'm using this particular keyboard on and the area I keep dark for the 60-in TV. After decades of trying to see the keys on my computer desk keyboard slider (especially the F-keys - it occurred to me that a back-lit keyboard would solve all my problems... and DID IT! Big and bright

I didn't particularly need a keyboard with letters this large but I'm getting use to it. This keyboard is very bright and well needed in my dark work space. I don't see why all keyboards aren't backlit. A person could always turn the feature off if not wanted. Plug in and use. The on/off switch for the light is on the bottom row and stays on till you turn it off. I would definitely buy again and this isn't my first backlit keyboard.
