love these shoes. they got me through the winter running through freezing rain/sleet, slush, rain, snow when i would have otherwise stayed inside. the traction is as good as it'll get without crampons. it's not completely waterproof (you can get a little water seeping in because the tongue isn't gussetted/tape sealed, but it's not a dealbreaker).

I've ran about 100 miles in my pair of RUNSHIELD. Very comfortable shoe. I also own two pair of the Endorphine Speed II. The RUNSHIELD seems to be a little more roomier. In the Endorphine Speed II, I had to order a 1/2 size larger for them not to be to tight, but the RUNSHIELD seem to be more truer to size. Other than this, these are a very Lite and comfortable shoe for your long runs, or for race day! I'm really enjoying mine, but next pair I order will be my true size.
