The reversible cast iron cooking plate allows you to add a different kind of cooking surface to your Monument Grill. Perfect for cooking fish or vegetables for family or friends. The 9.45 in. wide x 17.7" cast iron construction provides great heat retention and distributes heat evenly for delicious meals. Reversible, as one side is smooth and the reversed side is ribbed. The cast-iron cooking plate can do everything a griddle, skillet or grill can do. Great for frying bacon, cooking eggs, chicken, burgers, kebabs, tortillas, dosa, roti, pancakes, or just plain giving a steak a good sear. The cooking plate works on all gas or charcoal grills with a cooking surface larger than 10" x 18 in.

Absolutely love this grill. This
Absolutely love this grill. This is my second one and not because I had to replace the first one. I just brought it to a second home and replaced it with the same identical grill. Easy to assemble and use. Tons of cooking room and the upper grate is awesome for keeping cooked food warm. The sear box is great also!!!! Definitely a great grill.

Assembly- Nothing To Be Afraid Of
Have not had a chance to christen in due to schedule and weather. But I can comment on quality of materials and ease of assembly. It does require a little bit of time, but if one is patient and follows the instructions it's not too difficult. I really liked the way all of the required hardware was separated and labeled
