Christiane Claude, an experienced mime broke her silence, now singing with the CC Club band. CC Club, Christiane Claude's Club Band now plays all ten songs from 'Reincarnation' an album about the cycle of life, told through tango, jazz, salsa and blues. It's dancing, flowing music. Each song gives birth to the next one. These seemingly incompatible art forms in her performance marks a transition in the 40-year career of the Chelsea mime. But for Christiane Claude, it's a natural one. Both the act of singing and the subjects she sings about draw directly from her experience as a mime. To mime, she must reincarnate life and people; as she mimes, she sings in her head 'to help me perform.' With the first song Isa, a spirit gives birth to Jazzaly the second song, and continues to death and paradise.
