Defective Trap - holes not working

I purchased these to help protect my shed, the bees were flying all around the traps but didn't catch anything. I started looking closer, 1 hole on the side is too big (must have caught the drill bit and broke) and the hole on the front is almost flat - - the bees fly right in and walk right out easily. I'm going to try fixing it but pretty frustrated for the price I paid!
