Precautionary measure for 52 Plymouth flat head 6...

This was purchased for my 52 Plymouth. No it doesn't have a blower or supercharger, and has never overheated, so why get it. The answer is simple. Precautionary, currently I live in NY, however, we are planning to move to Arizona soon. My car has the original 218 flathead 6 cylinder engine with 97 horsepower. I'm planning on installing an aftermarket air conditioner and the engine is going to be working much harder. I hope this overflow tank doesn't get any use, but at least I'll be prepared for overheating when the outside temperature goes up to 125 degrees.

Perfect for my warm engine

Our hotrod was running fine but the 28oz overflow tank we had would still dump a little coolant after running. This 36oz tank is perfect! Nice shiny stainless- very good looking piece for sure!! Even at 200+ degrees it loses nothing when we shut it off. Terrific little tank!

capacity is great, a little hard to fit

this is my second puke tank since the first one was too small,23oz, not enough capacity. this one has more than enough. just a little tough to fit due to the lenghth. make sure you have room to fit it. I had to install my puke tank on the passenger side firewall since there was no other place. it's about 1/4"" from the bell housing at the bottom.
