This table is beautiful, well made, and a great design with the two built-in leaves. The two butterfly leaves are easy enough to operate for just my husband to extend the table to its full length and then back to the smaller length. The only thing I don't like about the table is that food can get stuck between the slats when I'm wiping it after a meal. I'm able to push the food through pretty easily but still an extra step when cleaning off the table. The chair design isn't super great for young kids. We have to make sure the chair is slid in close enough to the table that my youngest kids don't have to slide to the edge of their chair. Otherwise it tips a little. It hasn't been an issue since that first time the chair tipped now that we are aware. I like that the chairs fold flat for storage. That was essentially why we decided to get the table even though we knew the chairs weren't exactly the design we would otherwise like. They are pretty comfortable for being wooden chairs. They are in a semi-recline position which makes them comfortable for conversation after the meal. Overall, a great table for the price.
