Sadly it was Defective
First the good. The desk is solid wood, heavy and attractive. I was so excited about it. That was until the self-closing drawer did not work... at all. The drawer had to be manhandled to pull open and would not shut without effort. I am reluctantly returning this desk and reordering it and hoping it is a single defect!
