I am slowly switching over all of my kitchen, utensils and other items to stainless steel or glass. I used to have a meat chopper like this that was plastic, but I got rid of it. I am so glad I found this stainless steel version! This is a great ground meat crusher/chopper. It is built extremely sturdy and has a nice long wooden handle. The handle even has a hole at the end so you could attach a string to it and make it hangable or you could hang it directly on a hook. I like that added a feature. The handle seems like I said, very sturdy and built well enough to tolerate the dishwasher. I will probably use this once a week, as we eat a lot of ground beef in our house. Like I said, I feel like this will hold up very well crushing the ground beef on our cast-iron pans. I would 100% recommend this stainless steel meat chopper!!!
