This Kwikset Rekey Kit comes with 4 Keys and enough pins to rekey 8 locksets. Also included are the tools required to do the job.
- This is a custom kit designed for the do-it yourself person, homeowner, or small business owner.
- You can rekey 8 Kwikset 5 pin cylinder entrance locks , deadbolts, handlesets, and lever type locks.
- The kit comes with the follower, removal tool, deadbolt screw cap remover and 4 precut keys which are numbered to correspond with the pins supplied.
** The deadbolt cap remover has 12 pins, it works for most of the deadbolts. But there are some deadbolts that may need the 14 pin remover.The old key is not required to rekey, but prefer to have it!!!
