So far, so good. 4 to 5 stars.
I have a finished basement and have had at least 6-8 dehumidifiers. over the years. They usually last 18 to 24 months and then either stop working or "freeze up". The last one was a Medea which didn't last a year before dying. The GE models seem to do fairly well but have gotten fairly expensive. I wasn't familiar with the Duracomfort brand but so far it is doing well.Its pumping function seems to be particularly effective. The noise level is average. The big question is " how long will it last?" Time will tell. So far, so good. At this point, I would recommend it to others. (IT also has an app for your phone which is handy. Usually I can turn it off when trying to watch TV).

I have a barn office. I haven't finished putting in heating and cooling. This is doing a really good job keeping mold down from as warmest become in the office due to the cold outside Barn. I would consider bringing one of these in to try in my bedroom during the summer months

2 years ago I bought the most expensive brand dehumidifier thinking it would last. Threw it out after it made lot of noise %26 little moisture removal. Bought the DuraComfort unit %26 I absolutely love this humidifier because of price, it is very quiet %26 pump works great so no dumping pan. Quality dehumidifier that keeps up with humid conditions.
