Protected my RV Basement with Kingsley Locks

All - or most RV's - come with the exact same lock on all of their under belly and propane storage compartments which I guess is a great money saver for the RV industry but it really is a big security risk for RV owners. I was happy to receive the Kingsley lock - I immediately changed out the lock on the basement storage of my 5th wheel (which I live in full time for work) that has the most important/expensive things behind it - it was fairly simple - I used a standard wrench and screw driver and I was done in less than 10 minutes - I kept the "thumb" bar that was already on the RV that helps open the door - the size on the lock refers to the depth of the door that the lock is on that you are replacing - mine takes the 1 1/8" lock. There are 5 more "industry" locks on my RV - so I will be buying 5 more of these - I looked them up and they really aren't all that expensive - you can find them in bulk for discounted prices through Walmart - for the peace of mind that they will bring now and in the years to come the price really is irrelevant!
