Effective as a bee repellant

Bought this to use as a "homemade" remedy to keep bees(mainly yellowjackets, and potentially any other bugs) away from my deck. I used a mix of warm water, some dish soap, and ~3 tbsp of this oil in my garden sprayer to spray around the perimeter of my deck. So far, it seems to have worked as a deterrent, and lasts about a week. With cold weather approaching, i expect their activity will greatly diminish, but will be using this again come spring, hopefully with the same success.
