nice dog house

My golden retriever has plenty of room to move around and stretch out when she sleeps. The assembly was easy to do with two people, took about 25 minutes. The house looks very nice and the planter outside is cute, but if your dog is a chewer they might bite off the white part that sticks up on the planter since the white part is made of thin wood (that part can easily be replaced). I wish it could come with insulation but we added our own by cutting out pieces of reflective insulation and sticking it on with velcro (see photo below). Overall, good quality and spacious for a large dog.

So obviously you can measure and predict what the size will be, but you won't know until you have it and put it together. This house is big!! Which for us is great. I'm so happy we went through with the purchase. I have 2- 80lb dogs and they both fit comfortably. Pitbull and a German Shepherd/Rott mix. The plastic flaps keep it warmer inside the house which is what we really wanted it for because we have to keep the dogs outside for the day in the winter sometimes and obviously don't want them to be cold haha even though they are dogs. We didn't put the flower box on in the front due to the patio area we have the house placed but it is still cute without it. Husband was able to put the house together quick. No complaints. Overall super happy with the purchase.

Was reasonably easy to put together. It seems quite sturdy and looks great on our back patio. Now if our dogs would use it I would be ecstatic! Our pups were raised on a farm and never went inside any structures. I'm disappointed that they won't use the house, but it's not the fault of the house. It seems like it would be great for one very large dog like ours (Great Pyrenees), or 2 medium size dogs.
