Perfect Winter Lockdown Activity

We saved this activity for a rainy day and ended up getting it out at our (home) Halloween party. We had so much glow-in-the-dark fun and what is brilliant it that we can buy a few more supplies and do it all again! The plastic components are really durable and should last many uses. The kids were very excited to meet their beaker creatures - very helpful that two were included in the box!

Endless child led fun

The children were really excited to get started as soon as they could when this great little Science kit arrived. There are so many fabulous experiments in the kit, from separating the sediments in soil using the child friendly centrifugation equipment to hatching eggs to reveal their beaker creature. The instructions are really well laid out and easy to follow using their step by step guide. gives good step by step instructions to follow for children. My daughter couldn't wait to get started! The only downside was that we had to go out and buy most of the ingredients to carry out the experiments and finding B50 capsules was a challenge. The activities use things like cornflour, golden syrup, vinegar, PVA glue and contact lens solution. We have done half of the experiments so far and as expected the slime making activity was a great hit! It kept the children entertained for a long time and we were able to talk about the properties of different substances so it felt quite educational too.
