I have had issues in the past with large tv's and tiltable mounts as no matter what you do, they sag. So this time, I decided to go with a fixed mount and ordered several of these for my new home. I actually ended up using two of these for my 77" tv over the electronic fireplace as the builder only provided one stud over the center of the fireplace and two outside. By using two of these cut down, I was able to bridge from the center stud to the outside stud on each side without breaking the bank!

I was using an articulating arm mount in a corner - when moved to the center of a wall, the weight of the TV and Sonos sound bar made it very difficult to keep it from tipping. The slim fixed mount is perfect - the space for wiring (and fingers) is very tight, but looks great once you get everything in place. Comes with a template which makes installing very quick. Nothing fancy about this mount, but it's sturdy and reasonably priced so am very happy with the purchase.
