Very Fun Fast-Paced Game!

I have never seen a game like this before and thought it looked really interesting and unique! Even my elderly MIL could follow along and play with us, we just had to make sure we had the board close enough to her so she could see which utensil was a fork, spoon, or knife. It came with a very small wooden dice and it was a bit hard to see which image came up, but I just read it off for her when she rolled. The bug itself does get stuck in a corner every so often, so you have to just turn it around. I haven't had it for very long, so can't confirm if the battery eventually dies. It did not come with any kind of spare battery for the bug either. You have to assemble the utensils yourself and punch out the tokens, but it wasn't that hard. It was super fun to play and VERY fast-paced, but easy to understand! Highly recommend as a different game for up to four people in your family to play!

Bugs in the Kitchen

I played this with my 4, 7, and 9-year-old's, and it was a blast! Lots of laughter and excitement ensued as the bug bumped around the gameboard. The objective is simple: move spoon, fork, or knife “gates” to get the bug through the maze and into your trap. Game play is simple, roll the die, if you roll a spoon, you move a spoon on the game board, same with knife and fork. The “?” on the die will allow you to move a “gate” of your choice. The bug is a nano Hexbug that is constantly vibrating its way around the maze, bumping into the “gates” and shifting directions. The first person to capture the bug in their trap, and thereby collect a bug token, five times wins. The instructions are easy and help you build the gameboard. It took us less than five minutes. The components of the game are great and it's a fun theme. This game is perfect for young ones, and has been played almost daily at our house, mostly by the 4-year-old. I received this game as part of a promotion in exchange for my honest opinion.

Fast Paced Learning Disguised as Play

My kids (age 6 and 7) like this game. It's very fast-paced and require you to think and act quickly! Players learn how to strategize which pattern to use to make the bug go a certain way. The game is learning disguised as play. It's exactly the kind of game I can feel good about letting my children play over and over. I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion.
