Dead out of the box. Dead with fresh batteries.
I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas, she saw it in the store and begged for it. since I ordered it a month before Christmas, and considering I would have had to completely take apart the packaging to check if the bird worked, I left it alone in the box. It never occurred to me this toy may not work even with fresh batteries. Took it out of the packaging, flipped the switch a few times. The "Try Me" batteries were dead. I unscrewed the battery compartment, and the batteries that were in the bird were corroded to the terminals!!! I brushed off the one I could reach with a soft toothbrush, and put fresh batteries in. Still dead! My daughter was so disappointed, as was I! She keeps trying to talk to it, expecting it to repeat what she says. Not sure if I'll be able to exchange it with the same thing without the packaging, it was destroyed opening it. Very unhappy about this Christmas gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little Bird is such a unique toy that just makes my toddler giggle with joy. It has its own little house that is super adorable.i have two of these birds and they actually at times ate in sync and makes you think they are connected.
