Great for Post Chemo Hair

I highly recommend this shampoo for women who are growing out their hair after chemo treatments. I started using this when my hair was 10 months out from chemo, had colored my hair three times, and had at least 3 different lengths going on at the same time!! I'm trying to get my hair back to my pre chemo bob My issue was extreme dryness at the ends, along with (in my case) the dreaded "chemo curls!" Prior to using this shampoo, my hair was extremely unmanageable, dry and dull. After using this product just a few times, I found that my hair is relaxing a bit, feels smoother, and is more manageable when styling and using a flat iron. I use it every other day and alternate with another relaxing type shampoo. However, the bottom line is that this shampoo has been a real life saver for me. I'm looking at Pureology other lines now as my hair is growing out. So, thanks Pureology for helping me grow out my hair!!

It is indeed super smooth!!!

I was desperate before using this shampoo and conditioner. I recently moved to a new city which is kind of (?!) humid and my hair got so frizzy. I have naturally curly-wavy hair which is also frizzy, I never colored my hair but I use hot tools for my hair a lot. I will definitely recommend the product though you hair is not color treated! But, do not put the conditioner on your scalp because it will cause hair loss. (It says on the product that you can use conditioner on your scalp)

Loved the results...HATE the scent

I was so happy that Pureology came out with a shampoo for keratin-treated hair. I couldn't wait to use the product so I bought the shampoo and the conditioner. The good news, my hair looked amazing. The bad news is that I am very, very sensitive to scent, especially artificial scent and perfume. Even though my hair looked good, the heavy scent was so overpowering that it gave me a migraine and it took TWO shampoos with my old shampoo to get the smell out. I see on the reviews that many people love the smell, but if you are sensitive to scent, this may not be a good choice for you. I sadly had to throw it away. I would gladly buy it again if they came out with an unscented version. Pureology, are you listening? Please consider an unscented shampoo for those of us who love your products but are sensitive to perfume. Thank you!
