I must admit, I was pretty pleased with this party tent. It wasn't difficult to assemble and the metal tubing provides inner clips on either side of each end, to keep it from coming apart, unintentionally. The metal rods are light weight but seem to feel strong a durable once they're all pieced together. I also must add, in comparison to the easy pop up party tent we bought a couple years ago, I always thought, the alternative was the best way to go, and assumed that the tubing assembly was going to be more difficult to put together and less durable. I couldn't of been more wrong... This party tent here, was assembled remained in my back yard for exactly 2 weeks. Surprisingly, the material did not make that loud plastic flapping noise that I've heard other similar things do. It stayed pretty in its exact shape and held up without a problem, until it became extremely windy. My husband BTW, did not anchor it down AT ALL, which I thought he did. But the wind was intense and it causes th tent to lift and flip to its side, which I automatically concluded its fate. But with complete amaze I was able to pull it back into place and it did not bend, come apart, lose its shape, or anything. The material is a plastic similar to a regular use tarp, but slightly thinner. The inner structure allows for a vaulted like ceiling, which is another pro, in comparison to the pop up option. This one looks better without all the accordion type railings in the pop up tent. The one I had a couple years ago also started coming apart on a few of the hinges and that one, as a matter of fact also blew over and it bent in a couple different areas and I had a rough time getting to to fold back up which caused it to start breaking in several more areas of the structure, in the pop up (mechanism) hinges. I'm not a reviewer who is offered anything to give my review. I'm simply giving you my exact experience and personal opinion. I'm pretty picky about cheap looking things, especially when it entails a party at my house involving my family, who has strong opinions about EVERYTHING! But this party tent was a hit. It was a very good price. I would recommend it. And one more thing I must add. When assembling it together, once it's complete, my husband wrapped the rods together in the middle of each section where the two 5' ft poles connect to each other, making them 10' feet long, on each side from the middle of its 20' ft in length structure. This may have been what kept it as sturdy feeling as it was... Then when we finally disassembled it, he just used a box cutter and cut through the connecting ends, around the middle which allowed them to easily disengage, rather than peeling off all the tape, which would of left it all sticky and eventually would become dirty looking and unattractive. This tent also offers 6 side panels allowing it to completely become enclosed or open to accommodate any 10' ft section of each side. Only complaint: Wish it included a carrying/storage bag.
