I have a standing desk in my office workspace and really wanted one for when I work from home two days per week. i'll admit I was not expecting much out of this desk and I was a little afraid of the assembly when I opened it up and saw the Allen wrench included. But as it turns out, you only use the Allen wrench for a couple of things and most of them are legitimate screws. And best of all, the instructions are clear and easy to follow! I got this on clearance and it is well worth the price I paid. It seems very sturdy when in the down position, and only slightly less sturdy when raised to standing position. The standing motor mechanism is smooth and quiet. I'm sure the one in my office cost quite a bit more than this one, but this one has a better design than the one in my office. I love that the monitors are elevated and that there are two little cubbies for the drawers. My docking station and laptop fit comfortably in the center cubby, and the 48 inch version that I bought has plenty of room for two large monitors – three if you flip one vertically. I love that there are not drawers underneath because that seems to cut out some of the legroom, and many times I said cross legged underneath the desk. The desk that this one replaced in my home had drawers and I was constantly banging my knees on them when I would cross my legs so this is a definite improvement. The shipping box arrived quite damaged and I even took photos in case when I opened it there was anything missing or anything damaged, but the product is packaged very securely and safely inside with plenty of padding so absolutely nothing was damaged despite the fact that the box look like it had been through some pretty rough handling. All in all I was not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. I hope that it lasts for years. Very recommended!

This was one of the easiest and enjoyable builds I've put together. The instructions are clear and each item is clearly labeled with a set of extra parts. It took me maybe 20 minutes to put together and the result was a beautiful stand up desk. I highly recommend!
