A book to help survive the obsession and loneliness that angling may bring upon a man; to come to a healthy place in a life. Not always getting it right; Paul goes through his life trying to achieve this.
'A good angler in his time' is a book in three parts.
Book One - Childhood; From his first fishing trips with friends at a local small pond; through the troubles of growing up; being bullied at school and falling in with the 'hippy' generation; taking drugs, attending rock concert and all -night parties. Leaving school and moving to the Cambridgeshire Fens on the same day; starting a fresh life, as he learnt to drive and become more independent still.
