Not for small dogs.

I like it. Definitely not for smaller dogs. I have a big boy chihuahua that it just gets small enough. He?s all dog and no fat. If it was a little smaller it would not fit. He is 12.5 lbs. the stitching is good, no loose ends on them and the leash ring is a good size to get your clip onto. It appears to be well made but we will see in 6 months after it gets wet from us getting in the summer rain and it drying off over and over.
