Seems to be escape proof for cats

this fits perfectly on my cat and she cant get out of it. It fits where it doesnt dig into her and so she doesnt hate it quite as much as her other harnesses Ive tried on her. I like the little bit of padding on it so it makes me happier about putting it on it.

I love it and so does my cats. I do agree with other reviews. Buy a size bigger. I am glad a took that advice and they (bought two) fit perfect. My Sassy is usually a great escape artist but she has not been able to get out of it yet. As all cat lovers know, they are individuals and that is probably why some escape. The padding is very good so it is comfortable for them. Don't know if it is washable because haven't done that yet. If it falls apart, I will send another revie
