The New Injectors are Working Perfectly

Before replacement, the engine had an occasional misfire. One injector had become heat sensitive. You could start the engine cold and it would run fine even for extended drives. But after parking for 30 60 minutes, the engine would restart rough, missing badly and running very poorly. Strangely, after about 15 minutes of driving, it often cleared up and smoothed out again. I first tried replacing all three coils and the power transistor, but the problem persisted. Reading the OBD-I data finally pointed to an injector issue. Replacing all six injectors solved the problem completely. The result: the engine now runs better than it has in years!
