Silly yet fun!

This is a fun silly game for pre-school age kids. My 3 year old son has fun with it but my 6 year old daughter gets bored after a few times playing. The silly squawk sound from the chicken can be hilarious for the kids but seem to be very annoying for adults as my husband would stay away when the kids play this game. This is how you play the game: You set up a chicken and egg and use two plastic barn pieces to lock the chicken in place. Players take turns rolling a dice and get to pump the chicken for that many times. Each pump pushes a lever in the barn and means a chance that the barn will open, the chicken will pop up, and the egg will come out. When the egg is out, open it and a token drops out. Egg side up means you don't collect a chick. Chick side up means you do collect a chick. There are six chicks total and whoever collects the most wins. Good thing the kids can play on their own without an adult. In term of quality, the lever is not very sturdy so it doesn’t always work so sometime the kids get upset. Overall, a fun game but probably will not last for long. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review

Great family fun!

We got this game to play with our 6 year old daughter, she absolutely loved it and so did we! We played it quite a few times and everyone had a blast! The chicken squawking also sounds very real which makes for allot of laughs! Thank you for the opportunity to play this great game! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

So adorable!

This game is so darn fun. The whole family has enjoyed playing it, not just our son. It’s can be a pretty long game depending on how the egg cracks. I like that because the game has managed to keep our son’s sustained attention throughout the duration. I Attribute that due to the sillyness of the chicken. It is both auditory and tactile stimulating. The chicken can squawk rather loudly just like a real chicken laying eggs. Our son has compared it many times to our live chickens in the coop. He enjoys playing the game so much, he even tries to play it with his 9 month old brother. He plays for both of them as our baby just laughs every time the chicken squawks. It’s an excellent game that has provided our family with lots of laughs. Definitely a winner and a game that is picked often to play. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
