I recently picked up the NIV Jesus Bible Journals for the books of Isaiah and Hebrews, because I wanted to read and study these books. The Jesus Bible Journals are available for the books of Genesis, Deuteronomy, Psalms, Isaiah, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1st and 2nd Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Hebrews, and Revelation. You can buy individual books, the Old Testament book set, and the New Testament book set. Hosea-Malachi are all in one book.
These journals come in the New International Version (NIV), and they are very reasonably priced. Each book has an introduction included. The scripture is in a single column format on a thick, cream colored paper. The scripture is printed on the left hand pages, and the right hand pages are lined paper for journaling, with articles on some pages. The font is a 9.5 point in Zondervans comfort print. After the scripture, there is a table of weights and measures, and an index of the articles included in the back of the book. The articles in the back of the book are longer, most of them being close to a full page. There is lined paper beside each article as well. There is also extra lined paper for notes at the end of the journal. The journal ends with information about the NIV translation.
The Jesus Bible Journals would be a great companion to the Jesus Bible, because it gives you more room for notes and art journaling. They also would be nice to use as a stand alone resource. They are portable and inexpensive, and would be perfect for a deep study of individual books of the Bible. I would highly recommend the Jesus Bible Journals for anyone who enjoys Bible journaling or taking notes in their Bible.
