These are about what I expected. Outdoor use approved, but don't let the battery pack get submerged. The warm white color is more white than warm but it is also not cool white. Takes 3 AAA batteries (not included). Easy to hang. Did not tangle much when unspooling. Several light patterns to chose from at the touch of a button, but the flashing options were too fast and very stark, and I didn't prefer those effects. The slow wave and steady on suits my purpose better. Would have liked to see a better price on these. If Walmart can sell a 50" Vizio Smart TV for $128 as a Black Friday deal, this light set shouldn't be $11. It should be around $5-6 at best. However, since these lights can be placed anywhere you don't have an outlet, the item wins points for that.
