I followed all the directions and even added ice chips to the plastic bottle after having it in the refrigerator overnight . I soaked the sponge in a cold water container submerged. Assembled as stated use a small plastic container under to collect the condensation so it didn't leak all over everything! Didn't mount it as this was a test run. Had it safely on my arm rest . I didn't expect it to get cold, but I thought I should at least feel a cooler breeze! Not for Florida! I was expecting a boost to cool it a little, but didn't even notice that!
