Woman Within Plus Size Arctic Parka Jacket & Hood 34" Long Down Blend Winter Coat

I bought this coat last year and I love it!! I got it in bright red and it's just as bright and beautiful as the photos. Yes, it is heavier than the typical coat, but that's because there is a special material that is made by the company 3M that helps hold in your body heat. This is an Arctic coat!! Meaning that if you live in an area that has Sub Zero weather with wind chill it is perfect. A lighter weight coat is not going to keep you warm and that kind of temperature . The coat is extremely comfortable and well made. I've had no problem with the buttonholes, the buttons, or the zipper. I have not taken off the hood because the weather that I wear this coat in, you need a hood! With other reviewers complaining about the weight of the coat.. I can say is if you are a very frail person, or very underweight or weak, this coat is probably not for you. If you are average build, and have no health or fatigue problems, the weight of the coat shouldn't be an issue. Once I get the coat on I don't notice weight at all and I am 60 years old and petite height and average build. This coat will not take a plastic coat hanger. I just hang mine by the hood on a coat hook during the winter season. During the warmer times of year I make sure it's completely dry and clean and I pack it away in the closet I don't hang it. I hope that's answers anyone's questions worried about the other reviewers comments.. this is a great coat and I'm considering getting it in a second color, but the red is beautiful!
