Good buy!
We used this for our "man cave" room because it is not hooked up to the Central heat and air in our house. It was quieter (noise level) than our old unit, worked much faster and better went from 74 degrees to 62 in about 45 min and then my husband was shivering about halfway through the movie we were watching out there (Perfect for my pregnant self). Remote control works fine but we got a smart device so we can turn it on from our phones which also works well so in the winter we can heat it up without freezing to death to keep the pipes warm. Not sure how energy efficient it is yet because we have only used it a few times, but we like it. Room is about 20ft by 20ft including a full bathroom.

Easy to install-works fine.
Used for a 20 x 20 ft. room I use as a place to watch TV with friends--it didn't have central heat--works fast for cooling. Haven't used the heat yet, but hope it does a good job for football season. Easy to install.
