Where is the alarm?

I bought the watch for my father who specially wanted a light and an alarm. He likes the indigo light feature, but he says this watch does not have an alarm. The specs says it does have a 12 hour adjustable alarm. Dad is 80 but he was an airline pilot and is pretty mechanical. What are we missing?
