Whole House Pre-filter cartridges work!

We have had an Aquasana system in our building for a number of years. The Whole House Pre-filter fits in the system BEFORE the water gets filtered in the bigger charcoal filters going after the more serious gunk in the water. You can see the filter change color in the clear transparent housing. I change it when it gets too dark from tannin in the water or whatever comes thru the city water line. With two cut off valves I shut off the water going into it and out of it and then bleed the line. It is an easy process and takes less than 5 minutes. I take out the old paper filter and put in a new one.

Just a replacement of the pre-filters. Affordable, but, or the more important whole house filter. Don't live in home without it. You got chlorine (in my case, chloromines) in your water. Just do it for your hair (shower) and for your drinking water (mine is not bad, but %99.9999xxx is much better).
