Won't drive without it!

I've used Rain-X literally for decades. First discovered it as a young cross-country truck driver. It's water beading properties were simply amazing, and a tremendous boon to maintaining clear vision in the rain. Another factor was bugs. driving a large truck at highway speeds produces some really splattered windshields. Bad! I found that maintaining the Rain-X on my windshields every few weeks or so greatly eased cleaning them. The bugs still hit the windshield of course, but don't stick as hard. Finally, wintertime- ice is much easier to remove from windows that are Rain-X treated. I just can't say enough about the stuff. This new ceramic-based formula is much simpler to apply. One step process. Simply clean your windshield using the product and you're done! Much quicker and less of a pain than the two step process of original Rain-X.

Really fouled up my windshield!

Using this product as directed on the bottle, it left a thick residue on my windshield. Glad I started on the passenger side. Take a look at my pictures--and this was after spending several minutes using a microfiber cloth trying to remove the residue. It took another 10 minutes with reverse-osmosis water and a different window cleaner to get off the residue. Used Rain-X products for years, but not sure I will going forward.
