Best way to learn your rc is to build it your self

This was my first build and so cool fun and existing to build. In my opinion is the best way to get to know your rc car for future trouble shooting, and these TT02 kit are Highly customizable. But some people are kinda confused on the fact they are not complete cars... as why they are refered to as a kits! But super fun learning experience!

Very happy with this kit

Easy to build and nice quality. What I like about this chassis is that it has a lot of upgrade parts.

Not a bad entry level RC

I bought this kit to teach my son how to build an RC car. It goes together pretty easily, aside from screwing the phillips screws into plastic (too tough for a kid). I really hate phillips screws in RC kits, so this is part of the reason for the 3 star review. The other reason is the terrible front A-arm design that causes the front wheels to move back and forth over 1/8". We put a 13.5t Hobbywing motor in ours and the car seems to have a mind of its it's own, turning wherever it wants to. It won't drive straight more than a few feet. It's pretty quick if you like doing donuts. The body however is a work of art, aside from the mold line running across the hood. Terrible shame there. I really wouldn't consider this car quite hobby grade in stock form. In fact, I don't consider any car that uses phillips screws throughout to be hobby grade. Hobby grade cars can be disassembled and reassembled. If you try that with this kit, the screw holes will eventually strip out. Don't think I will buy Tamiya cars any more. I'll stick to Kyosho, Losi, Tekno, and Associated stuff.
