Plow & Hearth Classic Deep Seat Sofa Cover

I got this cover for my deck table & chairs for Christmas. I didn't put it on until the weather started to get warmer. It is a great cover. It is made very well made and the fabric feels very sturdy and heavy duty. The thing I like most about it, is it comes with an elevated centerpiece that goes under the cover and sits in the center of the table. It lifts the cover up so that the rain rubs off and doesn't puddle all over the cover. It rained the day after I put it together and put the cover on and it works great. No more puddling, Also, the extra large is more than sufficient in sizing for my rectangular table & chairs that seats 6 people. It covers everything perfectly with out a lot of extra fabric. It comes with ties and grommets to secure the cover down by tying it to chair or table legs. I hope it lasts a good long time because other non-P&H covers just didn't hold up for more than 1-2 years before cracking and falling apart. I have had nothing but good experiences with P&H & I find their products to be of excellent quality.

I bought this cover to replace one that I had which was exactly like this one. The old cover did a great job of protecting my patio table and chairs from the rain. That was expected. What I didn't expect was a 200-year-old oak tree to fall in the back yard. One of the huge branches fell on the chair and tables. The branch ripped the cover, which was understandable, but the cover must have done a great job of protecting the glass top of the table because it was undamaged. I know the cover wasn't designed or intended to protect a glass top table from a huge branch falling on it, and I couldn't guarantee that the cover would protect a glass top table every time,but it certainly did protect my table from being scratched or broken. The cover also does its intended job - protecting the patio set from the rain - and does it well. This is the reason I bought a second one just like the first one torn by the giant branch.
