My dad has Rheumatoid Arthritis, an awful autoimmune disease. His feet have begun to swell and his regular shoes and slippers were exacerbating the problem. My mom found these slippers with Velcro closure that can be adjusted to the swelling of his feet. They are not attractive, but they have really made a difference for his feet and are well worth their low price for his comfort! We would recommend them for people with PAD or neuropathy as well. We had actually seen them in a catalog, but we were pleased to find them at Walmart … and they were shipped promptly. Also, he does have wide feet and these slippers are still comfortable.
