Running great

I've put about 200 miles on this torque converter now and am happy with it. 5300 lb truck with a 231/235 @ .050 cam in a 350 Chevy with a 700r4 and about 400 hp. The truck is jumpy at stop lights and bucks at lower rpms so I probably could have gotten a higher stall, but the transmission has only got up to 170 on a hot day so for a daily driver I am happy with it. The converter still allows it to get up to a good range before really engaging and it makes it fun. The tips and instructions were helpful and everything was perfectly clear. The quality looks good and it comes well packaged. I definitely recommend it for any street vehicle with a cam smaller than mine or any daily driver.

Seems great bran new only 80 miles...

seems good works as should, engages at rpm advertised. Smooth lock unlock. As stated bran new only 80 miles so don't know about dependability

Result was Not as expected

I had this torque converter installed this week on my 86 Chevy K5 Blazer. I had a new engine built for it a couple years ago. I had it built to 350 / 350HP specs. So, the cam was a little radical for old idle RPM. So, I only wanted a slight increase in stall speed for idle purposes. Now, I can never reach lockup at cruise speed. Plus, the gears change at different RPMs for each acceleration. I don't know what happened. But, all I know is the torque converter change was a waste of money. Be careful.
