ALMOST ALL COOKWARE IS MAGNETIC
I love my Induction Cooktop. It does everything that a regular stove does, but it's safer for those elderly people who do their cooking and then forget that the stove is on!!! As long as they take the pan off of the stove when they're finished, the cooktop will not be hot any longer!!! AND, as far as needing special cookware, all you need is anything that is magnetic. Any metal that is magnetic will work. Since practically all cookware is magnetic, you shouldn't have a problem. Although, you won't be able to cook with glass or pure ceramic cookware anymore. not as long as you used to cook top, but that shouldn't be a problem.
