they work - aluminum series would be nice

they are aluminum and they weld on - so as advertised i guess. Would be nice if they would tell you what SERIES of aluminum it is so you can choose the filler rod with a bit better direction than just pure guess. They are SOFT as well. I chucked one in my lathe to turn down the base and even light clamping force left knurls in the material.
