good quality

High quality architectural outdoor wall sconce has a slick modern look to it. C Cattleya is a new brand name to us and we will defiantly seek out more of their products. This is a large, heavier matte black lantern. You put a bulb in the top and bottom, so you get light from both directions. These both have a sealed glass cover so that the bulbs are protected, slick and easy to keep clean. Classy all the way!

Well made with aluminum

This cylinder light is really well made and heavy. Hardware for mounting comes with the unit and it's pre-wired for installation. Simple instructions come with the light and it makes is a breeze to install. We put ours on the exterior of our house as an accent light with the advantages of a bright light on the side of our home. The lights are on each end of the light which makes it great for putting in a long hallway or the side of a home for plenty of light. The top of each side unscrews so you can put a bulb in and the seal seems pretty tight. It suggests using caulk to seal around the back plate to prevent water from seeping in. Great looking light, we are really pleased with it. Made in China.

modern look

This is a really solid fixture and would go very well with a modern, steel and glass house. It's big, so you'll want to place it on a large entry space or risk overpowering the entryway. Also, it has two standard lightbulb sockets, so expect a lot of light. There is no reason that you couldn't chose to go with LED or CFL's for your bulbs, just as long as they have a standard socket.
