The Worst Blanket

If I could give this zero stars I would. Negative stars maybe. Thought this was a cool concept: a waterproof breathable blanket with fleece lining on that prevents overheating and can be used in all weather?! Sounds too good to be true! It is. And I bought two. What an idiot. First, it's not fleece. It's some kind of performance material. Ok, all is forgiven I think. It's probably better than fleece! Wrong. The first time I put them on my horses I had to go rescue them because they were soaking wet, shivering, and miserable after being out in light rain. I noticed the blanket lining took forever to dry. Odd, I thought, but ok, I'll try this again, figuring I'd messed something up or water had run into the blanket from their necks. But no, no matter what I do, somehow my horses are still always wet. There is zero waterproofing. But then, somehow, even when it hasn't been raining, and it's not hot enough for them to be sweating, they're STILL wet every time they've worn these blankets. Worse, the blanket holds the moisture there and won't let my horses dry. I don't get it. I definitely don't need a blanket to create and keep moisture ON my horses. Anyway, do not pass go or waste your time with this blanket. I'm not sure who the audience is for this product, but it's not anyone who wants a dry horse.
