Summit Tires are a good tire for a good price.

I've been driving on these Summit Trail Climbers for a few weeks now. When I first got them I did notice that they gave a nice quiet ride with good traction on the turns. We have a lot of snow and ice and they have been gripping like any other tire. We have a lot of pot holes and they have handled the beating like a champ, so I am pretty happy with them. My only initial concern was that my fuel milage went down 1.5 miles per gallon, but that only lasted for the first tank of gas. After that "break in period" my former MPG was restored and I have been consistently getting an average of 21 mpg in my Explorer, just like I did on my last Kelly Tires. So now that I have been driving on these Summit's for a bit, I am very happy with my purchase. They are a really good tire at a really good price and I recommend them.
