Wonderful value in a very capable machine!

This was my first Chromebook. As a longtime PC user, I had always considered Chromebooks to be underpowered. For a PC, they are, but Chrome OS doesn't need the same hardware as a PC. After reading favorable reviews and seeing it offered at such a great price, I decided to give it a try. I am not sorry I did! I'm very impressed! I still have a desktop PC for my main computer but for the things that I need a laptop for, this fits the bill perfectly! It does everything I need and doesn't do the things that I disliked about my previous laptops - boots quickly, runs cool (without a fan!) and gives me amazing battery life! I'm very pleased!

Type away your troubles and surf your heart out!

I love this new Chromebook - and for the price, I can use the savings to shop for more supplies, online, at Walmart. Remember that a Chromebook is an Android user device, so if you are already using Google, the apps and flow will be familiar. This is not a Windows laptop, so don't expect to run your apps that require a Windows operating system. The charger is "C" type port, and it charges faster than my old stuff. The keyboard is a bit larger and easier to type on. I would recommend this device for students, and I would also recommend learning to anyone at every age. Do your best with what resources you have. Walmart helps me on that, but I shop other places, too. I like that I can return stuff to the local store if it doesn't work out.

best chromebook available

love this chromebook had two before this, and none of them compared to this one and this one is the cheapest one out of all of them. it's fast the battery is great it lasts a few days with light use and the display is decent for the price. keyboard feels really good and it gets loud enough. the only thing about it is I got mine with the usb slot broken but they replaced it within 2 days so the customer service is also great.
