Super quiet, super exhaust, wife is super happy
My PS18 range hood arrived the end of January 2024, in perfect condition. A new roof vent was installed the next day, 6 inch ductwork installed and final hook up the next week. It replaced an over the range microwave that exhausted grease all over the front of the cabinets and wall above. It is the best investment made for our kitchen. The PS18 is very quiet, even on the highest setting. The second setting above the lowest removes everything for normal cooking. Yesterday my wife baked dinner at 425, and used the front gas burners, with the setting set on the same second speed. The first time in 5 years that the smoke detectors did not go off with the oven at this cooking temperature. The exhaust suction is great. The digital buttons are easy to use. The 2 lights really light up the stove area while cooking, which is super nice. The 3 minute timer for the exhaust fan, at the end of cooking is perfect for removing left over heat and smoke. We are very very happy with this purchase.

I bought this hood a month or so ago. It came very well packaged, it’s a beautiful sleek design. Instructions for installation were very well laid out and easy to understand. The controls are easy to use and it moves more air then I could need even, when searing steak! If I had to say something negative about this product, it would be that the baffle on the exhaust has a slight rattle at high fan speed. This may also just be due to a redundant baffle in the outside exhaust component, which I purchased separately.
