Color off and thin

the color of this rug is nothing like the photo. I thought it was going to match my terrazzo nicely, but it's much darker and just not real attractive. I ended up putting it in my garage rather than returning. it's okay for that purpose, wiping feet before coming in and helping my dog maintain his footing as he gets old with bad back legs. it also does not stay in place very well even though it's against a door threshold edge. It's very thin so it doesn't interfere with opening doors.
