Madd Gear scooter decks are extruded from 6061 Aluminum and then Heat Treated to strengthen the material further. This was the only thing my son really asked for this Christmas. It was affordable, seems to be constructed well. Also it was one of the only scooters like this I could find with a heavier weight limit too! My son is 11 and is 5'2" and weighs 116 lbs. and this looks like it's going to be perfect for him! I feel like he is going to have alot of fun with this scooter and get alot of use out of it! I cant wait for him to wake up and see it setting infront of the tree in the morning!
